After crashing her car in Los Angeles on Friday, Anne Heche is in "extremely critical condition" and in a coma.

"At this time, Anne is in critical condition," Heche's representative said in a statement on Monday. "She has a significant pulmonary injury that necessitates mechanical ventilation, as well as burns that necessitate surgical intervention." She's in a coma and hasn't regained consciousness since the accident."

Heche has been hospitalized since Friday, when she crashed into a house in Los Angeles' Mar Vista neighborhood, setting fire to both her car and the house. Heche's publicist said in a statement on Saturday that the Emmy-nominated actor was "in stable condition."

59 firefighters were dispatched to the scene to fight the fire caused by the accident, which had completely engulfed Heche's car inside the Mar Vista home she had crashed into. It took firefighters more than an hour to put out the fire and rescue Heche from the rubble. Heche was reportedly able to communicate after her rescue, but she soon lost consciousness.

Minutes before the accident, Heche was allegedly caught on doorbell camera speeding, driving erratically, and, according to Deadline, getting into a separate minor car accident a few blocks away. Officer Annie Hernandez of the Los Angeles Police Department stated that officers had obtained a warrant to draw blood from the actor.

Lynne Mishele, the woman whose home was destroyed in the crash, has set up a GoFundMe page. As of Tuesday morning, it had already raised more than $100,000. Mishele "very narrowly escaped physical harm," according to the page, but her home was "completely burned" and she lost "her entire lifetime of possessions."
