A GLH Performance Package for the 2023 Dodge Hornet will be available.

Dodge is emphasizing the sporty appeal of the new 2023 Hornet and has now announced that a GLH package with many performance enhancements for the SUV will be available. Goes Like Hell is the acronym for this moniker, which pays homage to the 1980s Omni GLH sporty hatchback. Dodge's Direct Connection parts program will be used to sell the dealer-installed improvements. The Hornet GLH concept car that you can see in this image is intended to show what is possible when all the extras are added.

The GLH add-ons are available for the 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-four powered Hornet GT and include a suspension system that lowers the SUV by over an inch, a better exhaust, 20-inch wheels, and various stripes and GLH insignia. Expect a few more horsepower than the basic car's 265 hp, though Dodge hasn't officially specified how much more.

Although Dodge claims the GLH enhancements will be "stackable," which means you may be able to add one, some, or all of these choices to your Hornet, we do not yet know the cost of these extras. If you want everything, we predict that the GLH bundle will have an all-inclusive cost. The vehicle's warranty will cover the Direct Connection components.

If you have them fitted by a certain dealership, referred to by Dodge as a "Power Broker," your warranty will be void. We don't yet know the specifics of the performance parts that Direct Connection will eventually offer for the more potent Hornet R/T plug-in-hybrid model.

As the Hornet GT is anticipated to hit stores in December, more information on the GLH enhancements should become available later this year.
