The way Notre Dame football unveiled its 2022 Shamrock Series jersey is one thing; other uniform unveils are more creative.

Fighting Irish players from the past and present, along with first-year coach Marcus Freeman, went to the desert while channeling the iconic moment from 2009's "The Hangover." Freeman, Isaiah Foskey, and Michael Mayer, who portrays Zach Galifianakis with a flawless automobile crash, form their own wolf pack to play the parts of Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, and Zach Galifianakis. To receive the new uniform, they are gathering.

Both Mike Golic and Mike Golic Jr., former students at Notre Dame, are on the other side of the conversation. Freeman & Co. get an ancient Irish shirt instead of the incorrect Doug. This prompts the team to search a hotel rooftop for the genuine Shamrock Series jersey. When they arrive, they discover a white jersey with gold embellishments and numbers.

The official Shamrock Series made its debut in 2011 as a game played at a neutral site with a different uniform for Notre Dame. The game versus the BYU Cougars in 2022 will take place on October 8 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.
