I Love Life, Thank You, Mac Miller's sixth mixtape, has been made available on streaming services by the rapper's estate. The 13-track mixtape, which included Talib Kweli, Sir Michael Rocks, the Come Up, and Bun B, was first released by Miller in October 2011. Work from 9th Wonder, Clams Casino, Big Jerm, Cardo, E Dan, Black Diamond, Brandun DeShay, and Miller is included in the production credits. The mixtape's songs were launched alongside his "Road 2 a Million Fans" campaign starting in April 2011, one month before the release of his debut studio album Blue Slide Park. He released a new song for every 100,000 Twitter followers he got. Family First, Just a Kid, The Miller Family Reunion, Cold Feet, and ultimately "Willie Dynamite," which appeared when he surpassed 900,000 followers, came after "Love Lost." After reaching one million, he made the entire project available for digital download.

I Love Life will be released on September 7th, and to commemorate the occasion, Rostrum Records and the r/hiphopheads sub-Reddit will host a space where the mixtape will be streamed for 12 hours, exclusive content will be shared, giveaways will be held, and Miller's friends and family will be interviewed. On September 7, 2018, Miller overdosed and passed away. With the aid of producer Jon Brion, his last record Circles was made available in January 2020 after his passing. Then, in 2021, Miller's free mixtape Faces, which Vulture writer Craig Jenkins at the time referred to as "the best work of his short career," had its streaming debut.
